“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ.” - 1 Corinthians 15:57

Victory Baptist Church began in 1975 after several people met to pray and seek God’s will in forming a new church.  The Church was officially named in December 1975. In March 1976, eight acres of land in the town of Warsaw was acquired from Herbert Delano, a local dairy farmer, and six months later, the first meeting was held in the new building with Dr. Ben Wharton presiding as the first pastor. The first service was attended by 224 people. Over the years the church has been involved in several ministries including a radio ministry and Berachah Christian Academy which provided the community with the choice of a Christian education in grades K-12. In May 2002, Dr. Ben Wharton left Victory after 26 years of faithful service. On the same day, Dr. Todd Brown began as pastor of the church and is currently in that position. During the 44 years of the existence of this church, it has been blessed of God and has grown to its present size.
